A rewarding full time role exists in a friendly and autonomous team of Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counsellors for an experienced, flexible and growth oriented clinician. With the opportunity to shape and mould the team, applicants can be either an early career clinician who would like to grow into the role commencing with coaching support and graduated responsibility or an experienced manager. 

This role is ideal for those wanting to support the Northern Territory community, with an interest in social justice. This role can be from either EASA’s Head Office in Darwin or the Alice Springs office.

The role will be offered to a registered psychologist, or social worker with opportunities to scale your income based on your level of experience.

 

The right candidate will:

  • Be passionate, enthusiastic, and confident
  • Demonstrate skill and experience in providing a broad range of evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Demonstrate experience in providing psychological services to adults, children and/or adolescents
  • Supply evidence of an approved tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling
  • Be eligible for membership with APHRA/AASW
  • Have professional indemnity insurance and other relevant checks (Police Clearance, Ochre Card & Driving Licence)
  • Be able to provide a hybrid model of face to face care and Telehealth
  • Supervision of EASA’s counselling team according to APS standards
  • Ensure best practice and quality services
  • Respond to and receive client feedback
  • Liaise with, develop and maintain good client relationships with key stakeholders

Desirable Criteria:

 

  • Experience working with clients under and EAP brief therapy model Experience in managing a medium sized team or looking to undertake a leadership position as the next step in their professional development A Registered Supervisor for Intern Psychologists or supervision experience
